Emergency Services
To obtain a permit to carry a gun in the State of CT, you must first receive a local temporary pistol permit from the town in which you reside.

The Financial Director oversees and is responsible for the application of principles and practices of financial management of the Town.

First Selectman
Middlefield enjoys a truly New England style form of Government. In the purest sense, the people exercise their power and wishes through assorted Town Meetings throughout the year and via a three-person Board of Selectmen who are elected every two years.

Health Department
The Health Department for the Town of Middlefield is now part of the Plainville-Southington Regional Health District.

Public Works
The Middlefield Highway Department conducts a brush pickup for all residents of Middlefield and Rockfall for approximately two weeks in April.

The Center is a multi-purpose agency that provides health services, nutrition, education, recreation, wellness programs volunteer opportunities and supportive services.

Information and referral on any social service program offered in our state, such as fuel assistance, substance abuse, domestic or child abuse, food stamps and emergency shelter are provided by this office.

Real Estate taxes are based on 70% of the Fair Market Value as of the last State-mandated town wide revaluation.
